MARJAN DREV

The academic sculptor Marian Drev was born in 1955 in Celje, Slovenia. He graduated from the Department of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana with prof. Zdenko Kalin, Slavko Tihec and Drago Tršar. Post-graduate studies in sculpture at the same Academy at prof. Drago Tršar. He lives and works as a free-lance artist in Skoke near Maribor . Member of ZDSLU (Union of Slovenian Fine Artists' Associations) and DLUM (Maribor Fine Artists' Association),where he acted as a chairman of the art counsel. His artistic work includes sculpture, ceramics, painting and drawing as well as design and theoretical studies in Fine arts (for example problems in 3D modelling). His works are found in many private and public collections.
